The spurtle has been used in Scotland for centuries, dating back to at least the 15th century. It is a versatile tool that can also be used for stirring soups, stews, and other dishes. Additionally, it is sometimes used for mixing batters, sauces, and even for fluffing rice.
They are finished with our wood butter which gives them a lovely natural feel.
Wash in warm soapy water after use.
Reapply wood butter when they start looking a bit dry.
